Marite is currently in the process of opening her own art space, the Art Space Collective in Perth, Western Australia. The Art Space Collective is an inspired and innovative community space providing a venue for exhibitions, artistic sessions and studio space for the creative.

Marite, along with her husband Maz,  is aiming to generate and develop a creative energy in the art space, the first of its kind in the coastal suburb of Scarborough, in order to honour and remember their three beautiful and artistic children, Mo, Evie and Otis Maslin.
