Marite carefully cuts, dissects, and reassembles materials, showing that from the act of rebuilding, something new—and often hauntingly beautiful—emerges. Using vintage illustrations, old photographs, theatre posters, and found objects, she creates surreal juxtapositions that spark memory, imagination, and nostalgia.

Repeated motifs—body parts, eyes, serpents, bones—form portals to forgotten attics, retro flats, and other liminal spaces, balancing the blooming of life with the stillness of death. Her work invites you to explore what emerges from fragments when life is rebuilt.
