ColourWarp Fringe World 2021

In April 2020, Australia locked its borders and life slowed to a standstill. Tape on the floors in supermarkets signalled the safe distance between shoppers. Colour Warp is Marite Norris’s lockdown-inspired painting extravaganza, transforming colour and sound into an uplifting, immersive experience.

Collaborating with Christopher Tonkin (UWA), Marite explores vivid, rhythmic colour combinations paired with electronic music that echoes the room’s lines and textures. The result is a kaleidoscope of joy, vibrancy, and positivity—designed to brighten any space.
